President GARROLD GRIFFIN ........ . .... .............. During the first week or so, we Were: only recognized , as a splotch of green on the landscape and we were often the subject of the Seniors' , rude jokes. Finally after many trials and tribulations, the first two weeks- passed and ,gl we became accustomed to the routine of the high school. Everyone knows that, to accomplish anything, every organization must have a 3 leader, hence our sponsors, Mrs. Taylor and Miss Traster and our class president, Glenn Q .3 Beal. Since it does not take physical might to make right, Glenn makes an excellent executive. It is the efforts of these people, with the help' of Garrold Grifiin, vice presi- dent, and Virginia Marshall, secretary-treasurer, that have made our class what it is. The Freshman Class is well represented in the school activities. There are ten , Freshmen in the orchestra and we are represented in both glee clubs. In athletics we ws have John Moffatt making the squads in both football, and basket ball and earning his letter in the former. And then Glenn Beal was mascot of the football squad and elected the most popular boy in school. From these things, surely Fredonia High has a Freshman Class of which to be proud. We promise great things-watch us. LENORE POOLE. 'v K Page 41 E , H --,:-ffswm... . , A LL - .. . , ' .V 5.-, yy xy f ' . 1 '17 . 3,05 ,. .sal ..V , . Yay,-fr A, v V. ,J
