0'C6W07Z We, the Senior Class of l952, have chosen for our theme Rhythm of the Arts. It is our hope that this presentation will strengthen for the reader our belief that the world is essentially good: that while troubles may pass, art, and the fineness in men's character which it symbolizes, has endured throughout the ages. The main feature of our theme is the drum, which has been the basic element of rhythm down through the ages. The admin- istration is symbolized by sculpture and architecture because it is the purpose of our faculty to help us in molding our lives, and to build the foundation of character for each individual. Classes are represented by the classics-literature and poetry. Our organiza- tions are represented by music, since it takes cooperation and harmony of effort to produce a fine symphony-or a fine club. The dance, which involves complete coordination of mind and body, well symbolizes our sports activities. The advertisers, with- out whom it would be impossible to publish a Hilltopper, are compared with the patrons of the arts. We now present out l952 Hilltopperfan illustrated story of Fredonia High School. In future years may we look back on it with pride, and remembering the fun, the hopes, the dreams, the ideals we have now, go forward with renewed strength in the attainment of our goal. So with the harmonious strains of our Alma Mater echoing in our ears, we bid fond farewell to li. H. S.
