Look at u now Foces of the yeor of 1962 were nothing speciol to strongers but to o friend, nothing could motch them. Friendships ore so close in these yeors thot they seem indestructible. Friends usuolly meons two people thot know eoch other well, but in the Fredericksburg High School Bond for instonce, everyone knows everyone ond becouse this exists they con cooperote without much disogreement. You connot olwoys think of just groups of people or in- dividuols os unique. We tried to express the stoges of high school lite by putting them in seosons. Summer represents freshmen, becouse school is just begin- ning ond so is the freshmen's porticipotion in high school. They ore beginning to be involved in pep rollies, footboll gomes, morching contests, ond school donces. By foll the yeor is in full swing, thot is why Foll is for the sophomores. They know the holls, they hove knowledge of the responsibilities thot ore required of them. They ore the grown- up freshmen of the yeor before. Winter is for juniors, the group thot just become upper closs. Juniors go to oll the porties ond ore oble to torment underclossmen into wishing they were bock in eighth or ninth grode. Winter is on onticipotion of spring just os yourjunior yeor is on onticipotion of finolly becoming o senior. The lost seoson of school is spring. Spring is the time for senior trips, proms, ond groduotion. This seems to be the time when ot- tention is focused on the seniors. Awords ossemblies, porties, pic- tures, invitotions ond exoms signol thot for the Closs of '82, o yeor like no other is coming to o close.
