edicfaz tion WVe, the CLASS of 1952, as a tribute to her help in making our years at Frederick High fuller and more fruitful, dedicate this, our yearbook, to MISS LOUISE A. WEACLY. Not only has she enriched our hours of classwork under her able instruction but she has guided the destiny of our Senior Class in the capacity of Senior Advisor, cheered for us in our athletic endeavors, graced our social functions with her warm personality, and helped us individually with her friendly coun- seling and sound advice. 3 f j , V , ,, 1 I A Y A t L , o, 4 4' nz, fb A, 5, 1 . F o rewo rd From the rumpled Beanie of the bewildered freshman to the rigid correctness of the graduates Mortar Board, lies four years of the most varied experiences of your educational career. Education can well be said to be primarily concerned with what goes on under that hat of yours. Often one needs to but look at the lid and read there the symbol of what goes on beneath it. As you leaf through the pages of this annual you will find your varying moods and adventures as we have attempted to capture them from time to time. There is the proverbial Dunce Cap inflicted by your teachersg the helmet of the gridiron warrior. There is the ornate headdrcss of the marching bandg the pert cap of the green freshman. Each and all of these are symbols of school lifeg all of them are bound inseparably to the task of fashioning that which goes on under your hat. We take pleasure in tipping our hat to all of you who have done so well with that which is under your hat.
