and After School Activities One of the major changes in clothes this year, took place on the feet. Well dressed girls donned shoes with tassels, buckles and square toes. Happiness is an ice cream cone ... says Joan Staley and Greg Hobbs. Graduation Day brings many and varied feelings. Senior Vicki Wise realizes the ap- prehensions of leaving school and family, but the pride of comple- tion, and a job well done.

F.H.S. Teens Value Modern Fads Keeping up with everyone else, Frankton students do a new dance at one of the F.H.S. sock-hops. r Wearing Nehru shirts, turtlenecks, and medalions, K. Singer, R. Conley, C. Hazelbacker, M. Chaffin, and C. Welbom, examine a black beret . Dee Strong, the friendly waitress at a local drive-up Drive-Inn, makes small talk as she makes change. Teens are teens, and those at F.H.S. are no different. They like up to date dances, tuff clothes, and just driving through the local drive-in. Styles and fads come and go, but 1968-69 will be remembered for the African Twist , the Nehru shirts, Turtlenecks, club ties, ruffles, dark hose, suede and leather jackets, and shoes with tassels and buckles. The year will also be remembered for the things that every year is re- membered. All the dates you have; all the special things you did. The Satur- day night slumber parties, and the neat things that happened at the basketball games. Many seniors realize that after they graduate, things won't be the same. For now they must enter an adult world. 8
