The crowning of the queen highlighted the Homecom- queen with a dozen red roses. Christy's escort was ing ceremonies. This year's queen was Senior Christy Steve McGaheys. Other queen candidates were seniors, Roland, who was crowned by basketball team captain Brenda Hutcheson, Connie McClelland, Roberta Hea- Dallas Canfield, while Mr. Heniser presented the ton, and Vicki Wise. at Commencement, Just One of Many Firsts. During the sum- mer of '68, four FHS students re- ceived top spots in the competition for Miss Madison County. Senior Brenda Hutcheson, far right, led the group by obtaining the title. First runner-up went to Roberta Heaton, Second from left. Debby Davis, far left, and Peggy Flowers, second from right, rounded out the top spots. 7
