Served as Principal of the johnstown High School, l897-l908, Taught Mathematics at Pitts- burgh Central I-ligh School, l908-l9l8, Assumed the duties of Professor of Mathematics and Director of Daniel Scholl Observatory at Franklin and Marshall in l9l8.
