1 3 P 3 C Judy Mattingly, a senior, smiles as she pays the cashier at the end of the lunch line. She is now ready for one of the most enjoyable periods of the day, a time to relax and recuperate from class routine and mill over gossip with friends. Perhaps the conversation will be about the mock presidential election conducted by the senior government class with Eisenhower vic- torious by a great majority. Perhaps the discussion will be basketball as the roundballers have been having tedious prac- tice sessions with their new coach. Then the conversation will perhaps turn to rehearsals for the senior play and the playitself. Tense moments arise in the play, Meet Me at the Prom, when students discover that the boys have elected as prom queen a girl who wasn't a candi- date. Lucy, overwhelmed, confesses that she has no formal, but her employ- er, with the help of the principal and Lucy's mother, solves the problem. VOT L' 'vu The boys give Elwood a rough third degree as they try to force him to confess stealing the mon- ey found on poor inno- cent Cal. SLNUQS fs, .
