Though they no longer live among us, because of generous gifts of their loved ones, these 'boys are still carrying on the Franklin spirit by inspiring others to noble endeavors. ln this way the school commemorates the lives of William S. Kempner, John Doob, Henry Koplick, Armand Finkelstein, Alan Henry Hyman, Alan Edward Lefcourt, and Charles Weil, Whose records of noble achievements at Franklin will long be remembered. In 1937 the Franklin School Alumni Association offered a silver cup, to be presented each year to that student of the Senior C class who has dis- tinguished himself in scholarship and in extra-curricular activities. The cup is to be held for a year and then returned.
