A high honor at Franklin is to be elected to the Nation- al Honor Society, sponsored by Mrs. Hanks. Members arc carefully selected on the basis of character, service, leader- ship and scholarship. Several activities have highlighted the 1966 67 school year; a back-to-school dance, a spaghet- ti dinner in February to earn money, and an impressive in- duction ceremony. Also our chapter hosted to the three- county Regional Conference in the spring. This quite suc- cessful year closed with an enjoyable banquet for all mem- bers.
