Mr. Hieder Samuel Wuslich-- Big Sam — Sam was formerly from Export, but Franklin Is the proud owner of this 6 foot 4 Inch center now. Sam has scored many points with his pivot and one hand- ed shot. When Sam is taking his foul shots, you can usually depend upon him to make it count. John Liprando— Rizzo”— Johnny has added many points to his average this year with his one handed set shot from the side. He is very calm when the team is in a rough spot. Although this is his last year of basket- ball Johnny has been a faithful letterman. Delbert Moore— Sonny”— Sonny has amazed many fans with his two handed long shot from the center, He is also very good at giving a helping hand in freezing the ball. His acrobatic ability helps him tremendously as a fast fellow on his feet. Joseph Skandera— Joe — Joe has been a regular on Franklin's team this year. His specialties for scoring points has been the pivot and hook shots. He has been very effective as a rebound man and also a great play- maker in helping the team. James Moose-- Jim — Jim has helped the team a good deal this year. He has a two handed long shot that just can’t be beat. He is good both defensively and offensively because of speed and calmness. Bernard Schlenke— Mike — Mike has played for the Varsity for three years and is a great help in his height. He is very effective under the basket when the team is in a tight spot by tipping in many balls. Thomas Cain-- Tom -- Tom is only a Junior and has helped the team a lot this year. He is very calm and deadly with his one-handed push shot from the side. Next year we hope he still is dead with his shots from the side and out front. Russell Heider-- Rusty Rusty is only a Junior this year, but has been very active in being a sub- center. Hisheight has proved very help- ful to the Franklin Team. Rusty is fast becoming a favorite on the team. Yy v First Row: J. Skandara, J. Liprando, B. Schlenke, S. Wuslich, S. Mastorvich, R. Huder, Second Row: Mr. Swacus, J. Moose, J. Cappa, D. Moore, J.
