In November the trees are leafless and they stand sharply silhou- etted against skies that are laden and bleak . The wind rustles among the fallen leaves as if searching for something. Hints of winter are seen and felt. There is a somber charm in November days and nights. The landscape is allur- ing even in its undressed effect. The twi- light comes early and deepens quickly. The beauties of November are the fodder shocks, the pumpkins and turkey gobbler strutting to his doom .
