J' F3-F7.F argl: ,I L. -f BAND Our Concert Band went to the Michi- gan Band 8. Orchestra Festival, March 5, at Redford Union High, under the classifi- cation of a class A Junior High Band. They were awarded a rating of ll. A Il is de- fined as follows: An unusual performance in many respects, but not worthy of the high- est rating due to minor defects in performance or ineffective interpretation. A performance of distinctive quality. Some of the students from the Concert Band participated in the District l2 Solo 8. Ensemble Festival at Eastern Michigan Uni- versity, February l3. They were rated from I to V. l being superior. All Junior High students who received a rating of a I or ll received a medal.
