Linder. 9th Girls Compete Against Other Schools; Others Have Fun and Competition The 9th GRADE GIRLS ATHLETIC AS- SOCIATION (ABOVE) have been members of the G.A.A. since they were in the seventh grade and developed their sports skills. Then they matched their abilities in sports with other junior high teams. Members of the BEGINNING TUMBLING Club (RIGHT) worked on the unevens, the balance beam, and the mini-tramp. They also did floor exercises and tumbling. They were sponsored by Mrs. Schone. The SQUAWS (ABOVE) Col- lected money at the doors of all basketball games at Frank- lin. Eight members were in the group sponsored by Miss Minsel. The 8th GRADE G.A.A. (RIGHT) had twelve girls who were interested in participating in a number of sports, such as, bas- ketball, volleyball, and soccer. Mrs. Schone and Mrs. Bultemeier were the sponsors.
