Service Personnel Valuable Asset to School School cooks are (l.-r.) Mrs. Helmke, Mrs. Ecenbarger, Mrs. Geist, Mrs. Zurcher. Mrs. Vetrecht, Mrs. Henry, Mrs. Hagan, and Mrs. Evans. They plan menus, cook, and serve our meals. These five pictures represent Franklin ' s BEHIND- THE-SCENE WORKERS. These people help both students and teachers to be more efficient as learners and to be in comfortable learning situations. They complete jobs from the planning of meals to the dis- posal of rubbish and from the admitting of transfer students to getting messages to classrooms. Matron, Mrs. Shoemaker, and custodians (FRONT) Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Schane and (REAR) Mr. Beaver, now retired, and Mr. Kyser keep the school clean and equipment repaired. Mrs. Deputy, librarian. . . . — keeper of books — helper of students — collector of fines — organizer of materials Mrs. Conley, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Grider (l.-r.) help stu- dents by keeping student records, supervising students, and bookkeeping.
