Fall Student Body President, Mike Gallucci. As the presiding officer of the student body l have had the op- portunity to represent Franklin in state and local proiectsp however, mostofmy duties were confined to serving the Franklin Student Body. A campus clean-up competion with Ma rs hal lwas organized in November and put into effect dur- ing February. The largest project required of the fall cabinet was the preparation of the l 966-67 winter conference of Region lll. This conference was held at Frank- lin High S c hoo l on February 4, and was attended by represent- atives of 72 high schools. l look back on my term recog- n iz i ng many incomplete begin- nings. Yet l remember that in completions are better than no be- ginnings at all. Among the traditional activit- ies were the Candyland dance and an after-game dance. This cab- inetalso laid the plans for the re- newal of the inter-club council which would bea committee head- ed by a student body officer and would be made up of club presi- dents.. lt is hoped that this council would increase interest and unity within school chartered clubs. The major project undertaken by rhetall Executive Cabinet was the planning of the winter Region lll Stud e n t Council Conference which Franklin hosted, the theme of which dealt with the need for club councils.
