Mr. I-L Max Murray Curriculum Vice-Principal University of Oregong, M. Ed. Planning the curriculum and coordi- nating faculty functions, Mr. Max Mur- ray serves as one of Franklin's three vice-principals, Working closely with the teachers and maintenance staffs, he takes care of ordering new textbooks, and custodial supplies. Miss Carrie P.. Grant Administrative Vice-Principal University of Oregon, Stanford Uni- versity, Colorado College of Educ- tiong M. Ed. As vice-principal in charge of girls, Miss Carrie Grant attempts to iron out any difficulties which the girls of Franklin may encounter. In addition to this duty, she isthe advisor to Pleia- des, the senior-girls honorary club and plans several assemblies throughout the year, including the Rose Festival as- sembly. Mr. lack A. King Administrative Vice-Principal Pacific University, Oregon State University, University of Oregon, M. Ed. New to Franklin this year, Mr. jack King transferred from jefferson High Where he held the position of vice- principal incharge of boys. His duties include disciplining and counselling Franklin males. Mr. King also has charge ofthe dispersal of all club funds, on deposit in the student store. 14
