Franklin has seen girls in styles ranging from tight-curled hairdoes and bloomers, to ratted bouttants and checkered knee-length stock- ings, ithas seen boys in outfits ranging from knic- kers ancl golf caps to contoured slacks and crew cuts. Q, X h, ...Changing attitudes in curriculum have per- haps affected Franklin more than any other change. The curriculum has expanded from an offering of only the basic courses to a program of broad and varied subjects. Such specialized courses as photography, drama, interiorzdecorating, Russian history, and art understanding, now being offered, provide enough diversity to satisfy the manifold interests of more than two thousand students.
