BARBARA CUTLER Boys' Represcntafiw . . fl!-IORGE VAN BERGEN The activities of the Fall term, 1943, started off in the right direction by keeping up the record of a IOOW Student Body Card sales for the third consecutive time. Most prominent among the projects undertaken, however, was the complete furnish- ing of a day room for soldiers at Camp Adair. Members of the student body willingly pitched in and gave their money to pay for this brand new furniture. But this was not the only patriotic step taken during the term, for war-conscious Quakers supported the two VVar Bond drives with true Franklin spirit. Climaxing a successful term was a Christmas semi-formal dance given the evening of December 23 in our gymnasium. The main feature of the dance was a Santa Claus who handed out paper hats to all those attending.
