In this dedication we wish to express to them our love, our grati- tude and our admiration. Soon we will leave this schoolg soon we will enter upon the problems of young manhood and young womanhood. However, we know that our parents have pre- pared us well for the life that lies ahead and we say to them We thank you. O may we never bring anything but happiness and joy to each of them. We may have been personally defeated but our principles never! We always kept in mind that there are some defeats more triumphant than victories. At all the games the team was ready and willing to go all the way if only lady luck would make an appearance. We all had fun and we would like to give thanks to students, teachers and all the people who backed us all the way, whether we lost or won, right up to the last game of the season. Although few people realize it, this is quite a business within itself, and according to Hitchcoclis Transportation Directory the buses are rated as one of the major school bus fleets in the U.S. The Board of Education owned and operated 58 buses and 4 contract buses at a cost of 360,687.01 during the school year of 1958-59. Franklin High School has an enrollment of 320 students and 287 of these students are transported to and from school each day. Mechanic RUSSELL BLIZZARD Transportation Manager T. J.
