Learning Never Ends Top U.S. officials Shirley M. Hufstedler and William F. Bolger, Secretary of Educa¬ tion and Postmaster General visited Franklin on September 20, 1980 to honor the new education stamp, “Learning Never Ends”. Mrs. Hufstedler noted that Franklin pre¬ served its traditions well. “You in Franklin have done an extraordinary job in moving forward in education,” she said.
