rtfaocloccttott The prime purpose of any introduction, obviously, is to introduce that which is to follow. In the particular case of our yearbook, however, such a task is indeed difficult, for our entire purpose in publishing Os key 1964 is to introduce. Yes, through words and pictures we hope to present, to all readers, the Class of 1964 —its students and its teachers; its memories and its goals; its spirit and its friends; its brief but active life. Naturally, the book is intended for two distinct groups of people—the majority, who are not me mbers of the class of 1964 and the minority, who comprise this same class. To the first group we hope our yearbook will convey a feeling of knowing and understanding both the history and the aspirations of some 120 students as they hover on the brink of adulthood. To the second group we hope this book will serve not only as a factual epilogue, but also as a pleasant reminder of four well-lived, well¬ loved years. With this duo-purpose as our guide, we have proceeded to construct what we hope will be a meaningful and memorable introduction to the Class of 1964. The Editors
