These swords, or spades, symbolized wis- dom. ln most card games, the Ace is the greatest honor card. Thus it follows that the Ace of Spades signifies the most honorable sword of wisdom. Our faculty, like the Ace of Spades, will not be utrumpedu in its slashing endeavor to give us the greatest wisdom that is possible. 5
