jfnretnurh Who is wise? He that learns from everyone. Who is powerful? He that governs his passions. Who is rich? He that is content. Who is that? Nobody. JN Poor Richard's Almanac, a famous work of Benjamin Franklin, we find imbedded in his witticisms and quotations many ideas which apply to life today- theories of education, advice on relationships with one's fellow men, and a philosophy of good living. The selection of Poor Richard's Almanac as the theme for this year's KEY was prompted by the deep bearing which Franklin's theories have on life in our time. Through our school activities, sports, and many or- ganizations, we have endeavored to promote a spirit of teamwork, fellowship, and democracy as advocated by Franklin. It is our fervent hope that we, the Seniors, now about to leave Benjamin Franklin High School will be able to live lives worthy of the high standards and ideals which this school has encouraged in us. Thus in some small way, may we each be able to contribute to the development of a positive, dynamic democracy and a lasting peace f x
