Then came the big year and none of us could believe it. We were Seniors! ! We took the Mental Maturity Test, the Achievement Test and the Kuder Preference Test. When our rings arrived if you walked down the halls you could always tell a Senior, not only because we were showing off our rings, but also because of a certain glow of glory and also of sadness in the eyes of each. It had finally struck us that we would be leaving soon to go on to bigger and more dif- ficult tasks in our life. No matter how much we fuss and gripe about our high school days, we will always look back and wish we were there again. Our memories, experiences, and our friendships here will always be among our most cherished possessions. BEST ALL AROUND Glenn Legnon and Carolyn Hebert

MR. AND MISS DEPENDABLE Charles Fontz and Susan Chauvin As Freshmen we entered Franklin High frightened yet also thrilled at the thought of changing from elementary school to high school. One of our fears was getting lost in the round building. But we soon found out that it was not so hard to find our way. As Sophomores it was not half so thrilling as entering our first year. But we all looked forward to seeing our friends and finding out who would be our teachers. As Juniors we were old hands at getting around the build- ing and just could not wait to start selling magazines to raise money for our Junior-Senior Prom. 46 W K mxmw 7 N Pefso W6 Go MOST SCHOOL SPIRIT ED Gary Matherne and Paget Haydel MOST HANDSOME AND BEAUTIFUL Richard Lacombe and Lynn Barras
