'ffm 'V --U we -1. ww- F-.v ---V-f ..,,,,, Q TO THE CLASS OF 1959 The start of your high school career was also my first year with the Franklin Schools. lt has been a pleasure and ioy to be a part of your school life. I have watched with pride and enthusiasm your development and growth these past six years. You have received a sound educational background from an excellent staff of teachers who wish for you the best in life. Scientific advances seem to be bringing all of the people on this planet in close contact with each other. In the struggle for existence and pursuit of happiness in which we are all engaged in one way or another, a great deal depends on our re- lationships with our fellow men. The material needs of the world are indeed great, but in far greater measure is its need for dedicated people interested in the wel- fare of others. May every day and every year give you a wealth of moral' courage, experience, willingness to do, and much happiness so that each member of this graduating class will always bear the label- a good citizen. JOHN R. HAUBERT Superintendent 6
