i iftiii Wi'1,, .:z . The Class of 1959 will always be remem- bered by me as the Hrst class to be graduated during my principalship at Franklin High School. More than this, however, the class will be remembered by all of us for its school spirit. It is this spirit that, I hope, will be carried forward by each member of the gradu- ating class into the world which they are about to enter. This world, into which graduating classes are constantly entering, is probably neither better nor worse at this time than it has been at previous times. It is, however, increasingly complex. Your ability to deal with its complex- ity will be directly related to your capacity and willingness to enlarge upon what you have already learned. If every member of the graduating class were to realize that he is at a beginning and not at an end in the lifetime occupation of learning, I am sure the Class of 1959 could not help but be a credit to itself, its parents and community. I wish each mem- ber of the graduating class good luck in this venture. . .K ,,,,,,.,, il Mr. Philip G. The real key to a satisfying and suc- cessful career may well lie in your experiences at Franklin High School.
