Besides administer- ing vision, hearing, and color-blindness tests, she attends to all emergencies and is avail- able for advice concerning health educa- tion. In order that athletic teams may re- ceive emergency first aid, Mrs. Kinsey works extra hours whenever our teams play. Mrs. Kinsey is also the sponsor of the Future Nurses of America. Under her guid- ance, many girls choose some phase of medi- cine for their careers. Mrs. Kinsey sets a broken leg-Oops! Miss Hickman, Miss Campbell and Mrs. Fringer are shown in the office adjacent to the library. Franklin's library, containing more than 7000 books, is considered to be one of the most outstanding and attractive features of the school. The librarians, Miss Martha Camp- bell and Miss Carol Hickman, aided by the library secretary, Mrs. Annie Fringer, acquaint the students with the library facilities and with many interesting books found there. They also try to keep the library up-to-date by constantly expanding the book and magazine selection. The library is used by the students for reference work or free-reading before and after school and during study periods. I am what I know.
