A.F.S. Students Have Varied Experiences On the next seven pages, the seven students who attended Franklin under the American Field Service program since l955-56, and the three girls from Franklin who went abroad dur- 855- ' rw Q . . 1 gllllll ing the past year under the same program will be featured. Five Franklin students have been A. F. S. representatives. Kirsten Ly, Norway, is still spending much time with her favorite pastime - skiing. The picture on the left shows her prepared for a water ski show last summer. She hopes to come to the U.S. in 1960 to participate in the Olympics - as a skier, of course. After she spent three months as a student nurse, Kirsten is now enrolled in the Physical Therapy School of Oslo. Kirsten was one of the first A. F. S. students at Franklin. She resided with the C.
