Students from two small communities. Morgan and Franklin, were joined together in the forming of Cedar Mountain High School and Cedar Mountain Middle School. A new experience that would last for a whole year and more if it all worked out. We all came to school the first days with fears of how this year would turn out. But within weeks we were comfortable with each other and greeting everyone in the halls like old friends. Together we survived all the problems: the new bussing system, mixing the two school’s traditions together, sports, classes, and most of all creating new friendships. Cedar Mountain, a new beginning, a new challenge, and a time to grow and mature for the future.

DEDICATION We, the first graduating class of Cedar Mountain High, would like to dedicate the Cougar to everyone who took part in the pairing of our school. Our parents, friends, the school administration and faculty, and both communi- ties of Franklin and Morgan have contributed to the success of the Cedar Mountain High School. They have molded us through the past years and prepared us for the future. We want to thank you for the time and effort you have invested in us. We are grateful for the memories we share.
