It's got to be the morning alter Homecoming was on October 12 with a game against Belview. Although Franklin had a good team this year, they lost to Belview by a score of 32-8. However, the dance in the evening with KQIC Disco was a big success. Nothing beats a great pair of legs!!! The Tigers ended the season with a 16 win and 5 loss record, which gave them 3rd. place in the Tomahawk Conference. During the Christmas break they played in the Lamberton Tournament and took 1st. place. At the District Tourhaments they beat Sanborn 56-51 in the quarterfinals and Redwood Falls 48-32 in the semi- finals. The final was played against Morton, and although the boys played a great game, lost 54-58. Dale Dickmeyer and Dean Bock were named all-confer- ence with Randy Hennen receiving honorable mention.
