ELEMENTARY TOURNAMENTS Franklin was again host of the Elementary Basketball Tournament held in March. The eight schools participating were: Bird Island, Lake Lillian, Sleepy Eye-St. Mary's, Winthrop, Gibbon, Fairfax, Morton, and Franklin. Sleepy Eye-St. Mary's was the tournament winner with Franklin taking fifth place.

This year they had an undefeated season with an 8-0 record. The team had hard practices and tough competition but it seemed to be all worth while. Way to go guys!
