Sweetheart. 35 Ecology class is not an organization, but this year they have worked on some interest- ing projects that we thought merited some recognition in the yearbook. This year's Ecology students have not only studied the surrounding ecosystems in the classroom, but have also be- come actively involved in several projects concerning our environment outside the classroom. By taking field trips we have learned to distinguish different duck classifications and bird species. Under Mr. Sandmann's instruc- tion we attempted to construct several wood duck houses, which after much struggle and believe it or not success, have been set up in different locations down in the Valley areas. Through learning and studying ecology we have learned how to conserve and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding us, and encourage others to do the same. Look out world, here we come. And... here we are!!! LETTERMEN’S CLUB The Lettermen's Club has been very busy this year. Some of the things that were accomplished were: They payed for half of the new baseball uniforms, voting to keep the name the same even though the girls are not allowed to join, and the big Elementary Tournament that was held on March 10,11, and 14 which featured teams from eight different towns. After all expenses were paid for from the Tournament, a profit of about $750 was made which will be put to a good use in our athletic program.
