Making a fool out of yourself in the Senior skit. Being excited about being crowned King but not letting your feelings show. Almost (but not quite) going into the end zone for a touchdown. Cheer up Mr. Johnson, things could be worse. The 1973 Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom parted from the traditional Franklin Prom in some ways. First of all, both the banquet and dance took place at the recently opened Donovan's Conference Center in Red- wood Falls, and on a Friday night, yet, instead of the usual Saturday. A meal of ham, corn, and baked potatoes was served at 6:30, and the Grand March, open to the public, was at 8:30. Parents who came to watch the march were surprised to see so many stran- gers-about 80% of the students came with dates from out-of-town. HeyGam, where's Carmen??!
