1968 WE, THE CLASS OF OF FRANKLIN PUBLIC SCHOOL, DEDICATE THIS ATOM TO MR H. A. MAHLER The graduating class of 1968 discovered that it is difficult to choose a person to dedicate an annual toj but after careful deliberation, we chose you. Hr. Mahler, for a varied number of reasons. Our last year of high school has also been your final year. You have been with us for the last ten years as superintendent of Franklin Public School. Those ten years have ended a long, fine career in school administration of thirty-five years. Just as we are leaving with many happy memories, we are sure you are leaving with the same. We realize that one of your greatest contributions to our school has been all the hard work it took to get many new improvements made on the school, which include: all of the new lights in the high school, and the remodeling of the business room, science room, music room, and library. Most remembered of all is the new addition, including the gymnasium and new classrooms. We especially wish to thank you for getting the new lights in the gym in time for our Senior Class Play, which certainly helped in the success of the play. Another memory we can all share is our Senior Class Trip to Lake Okaboji, which you chaperoned. Even though you will no longer be a member of the school administration, you will always be in our hearts and minds and throughout those of the community.
