DECLAMATION Franklin can be very proud of it's showing in declamation this year. Seven students ad- vanced through the sub-district contest to the district finals. They were Nancy Schliemann and Susan Mumme in nonoriginal oratory, Brenda Hall in storytelling, Paulette Serbus and Don Ring- blom in dramatic, and John Allen and Eugene Longstrom in original oratory. Eugene and Don were selected as alternates to the regional contest. John went all the way through the region to the state finals, where he received a 'B' rating. Congratulations, Alll We hope that these fine performances will be kept up in the future. 24 SUB-DISTRICT WINNERS RCW ONE: Brenda Hall, Susan Mumme, Paulette Serbus, Nancy Schliemann.
