The Junior High Basketball team turned out to be the most successful athletic team at Franklin during the 1967-68 school year. During the season the team did not look like an outfit that would win a tournament. However, they jelled in time and turned in three convincing wins in the Junior High Tourn- ament, which was held here at Franklin. They defeated Gib- bon 35-19 in the opening round. Sleepy Eye by a Us-35 score in the semifinalsj and Gaylord by a score of U2-35 in the champ- ionship game. This was the Tiger's second championship in history. The first one came in 19ls7. Congratulations boys on a fine team effort, and a job well done. 18
