The six-week iourney will consist of morning classes and afternoon sightseeing. The trips are part of a continual effort to stimulate a greater in- terest among foreign language students. Year after year the effort continues. The library has books on the various countries represented by the French, German, Latin and Spanish languages, and the language classrooms display maps, magazines, and flags. For the student with an extra interest, as well as extra time, the Communications Laboratory is always open with a variety of interesting educational material. Jordanian students Gulialt and George Haddad talked with Mrs. Walter about the possibility of taking French.

This one required year included, as usual, a gen- erous sample of many activities: badminton, volleyball, basketball, calisthenics, isometrics, modern dance. A twelve-week swimming course was required of all Sophomores, who also worked on first aid and basic health concepts when they were not scheduled to gym or pool.
