Cindy Quinn and Marilyn Miller ignited chemical interests. cience Department accents better learning methods Modern trends extended to the Science Department with the introduction of more beneficial methods of independent study, more effective use of lab time. Biology led the way as it took over the hall show- case exhibiting displays to entice a curious mind. A kynograph, recording response of a turtle heart sub- iected to different stimuli, caught the attention of many an inquiring student. Also new in the Biology depart- ment was a unit accompanied by films to explain the eFFects and dangers of hallucinatory drugs. Chemistry and Electronics renovated their depart- ments and made major improvements. Students were able to choose not only their lab modules, but also their areas of exploration.
