Seniors celebrate successes with good taste, high spirit ln spite of our distaste of national politics during the summer, our dislike for the Viet Nam war, we man- aged to be high-school-happy in an old-fashioned way whenever a proper occasion presented itself: such as the November Saturday when our Patriots defeated cross- town rival Bentley at football. Great day for Patriots! Another kind of patriotism was proven by our eager interest in the national elections. Although our votes didn't count, we did have an election in school on No- vember 5, with Mr. Humphrey defeating Mr. Nixon, who in reality was elected President of the United States. And we instituted SPI lStudents for Political Involvementj to keep up with current political development.
