Fall President A Anita Gilner It has been said by ,many people that Franklin is one of the best, if not the best, high schools in all of Los Angeles. And who am I to disagree? The wisest of all kings, Solomon, asked God, Give me wisdom and knowledge that I may go out unto these people. Franklin has tried to endow its students with wis- dom and knowledge so they too may make decisions worthy of a king. I am proud to have had the privilege of attending such a fine school and belonging to the best Senior Class ever graduated from Franklin. Many thanks to the people who have made my years at Franklin such a beautiful experience. Thank You, Anita Gilner Girls' League G.A.A. Teachers of Tomorrow Almanac Staff Student Forum Rep. Modem Dance Spring President Jesse Serrano As Class President, my experiences were many, and I thor- oughly enjoyed the opportunity to the fullest. The Spring Cabinet put in long hours of hard work with rewards that cannot be measured in words alone. The warm fel- lowship that was exhibited by all members of my cabinet will remain as a part of my life. Working together with people of many different backgrounds leaves me with untold experiences that will make me a better person. And better people is what the world really needs. I feel that I have acquired much personal satisfaction and men- tal growth from my working with the political, physical and social aspects of Franklin. People working together for a com- mon goal - to improve conditions of education . and living - is what student government is all about, and lim proud I was involved in it. I sincerely wish to thank all that helped me during my time in office. Sincerest and warmest wishes are extended to everyone at Franklin, and I pray that all of you will succeed in all your endeavors. Sincerely Yours, jesse Serrano 2nd Team All League Varsity Football All Northern League Bee Football Boys' Leagie Surfing Club
