The year began with an informal Get-Acquainted party, an initiation and an interest- ing visit to the New York Modeling School. The club's social calendar was high- lighted by the lovely April Showers Ball. Next year, this club plans to become a chapter of the Future I-lomemakers of America. In the meantime, the members are planning for a big year of entertain- ing programs, parties, trips and dances. LIBRARY The jobs performed by the student-librarians are many and varied. They have helped in putting 1400 new books in circulation this year. During three periods of the day, student-librarians have been in complete charge of the library. The Lenten devotions for the school were sponsored jointly with the other Hi-Y and Jr. Tri-Hi- Y clubs. In conjunction with the Dramatic Club the girls served as usherettes for the school play. The closing social event was a swim party at the YMCA with the Hi-Y members. Two representatives of the club went to National Tri-Hi-Y camp. JR.TRLHLY CLUB The Junio r Tri-Hi-Y is an organization of the YMCA composed of Junior High School girls. The girls pictured are the charter members of this organi- zation. One of the se rvice s this group performed was to conduct some of the devotional periods over the P.A. system during the Lenten season.
