More questions are answered here per day than on all the radio quiz programs. Miss Lamoree and Mrs. Bloomer patient- ly and efficiently attend to all the assorted clerical details of the school. The haven of hypochondriacs, the health room is more practically a source of great help to all. Here each student receives an annual physical examination and care for any minor injuries.

FOOTBALL 1948 This year's football season was one of the best ever at Roosevelt. The team boasted speed and weight, a nearly unbeatable combination, as proved by the impressive 7-1 record. The only missing leaf in the Green and Gold laurel wreath was taken by Hastings in a closely fought game at the Westchester field. Without letting this defeat slow them down, the R. H. S. gridders continued on to defeat such traditional rivals as Wappingers, Highland, Beacon, Cardinal Farley, and for the sweetest victory of all, Arlington. R. H. S. 14 - 0 Pearl River R. H.
