There are three possible reasons for the increased popularity - a Hner paper. a new subscription plan, and an intense publicity campaign conducted in a series of noon assemblies. Four members of the staff attended the Empire State School Press Associa- tion in Syracuse and brought back valuable ideas for improving the paper. The group have devised plans for a permanent office so that they can carry out their writing efficiently. ' Having become Record conscious, the student body eagerly awaits the Friday noon publication. Such a response has helped to give the Record a permanent place in R. H. S. journalism. ' 'Q'-'WL' 1. There is hardly a student at Roosevelt who has not heard that command in the corridors. Since over 600 students are turned loose at the 'end of each class period, some provisions had to be made to control the traffic situation.
