Mem- bers learn to recognize and appreciate some of the better known works of the masters. They are also taught many vocal techniques for their own singing en- joyment. The Cilee Club participated in the P. T. A. entertainment, the Christmas assembly, the Harvest Festival, the annual Cilee Club Concert, and the Bac- calaureate Service. BESSIE HCSINEYWELL This year the Record hit a new high in circulation. There are three possible reasons for the increased popularity - a Hner paper. a new subscription plan, and an intense publicity campaign conducted in a series of noon assemblies. Four members of the staff attended the Empire State School Press Associa- tion in Syracuse and brought back valuable ideas for improving the paper. The group have devised plans for a permanent office so that they can carry out their writing efficiently. ' Having become Record conscious, the student body eagerly awaits the Friday noon publication. Such a response has helped to give the Record a permanent place in R. H. S. journalism. ' 'Q'-'WL' 1.
