During Know Your Student Organization Vfeek. three public meetings were held, at which time the student body had an opportunity to see the council at work on a typical school problem. Projects this year included the awarding of extra-curricular letters, the setting up of a satisfactory monitor system. and the establishing of a Sunshine Committee within the council to send messages to students who are absent from school because of illness. As a special feature the '48-'49 council supervised the collection of food for several Christmas baskets which they distributed in the area.
