186 THE EDITURS LAST WORDS Hello Mustang family, my name is Tina Marie Ro- berson and I have been your Editor for the 1982-1983 school year. I can truthfully say that working on the yearbook staff has been a vastly enriching experience for me. It has taught me to be very responsible and independent. I have tried my best to make this year- book one of the best in Roosevelt's history. I really do hope the seniors will enjoy this book because it holds a lot of memories for the class of '83. In this annual lies lots of unforgetable memories that will always linger in my mind. I would like to thank Mrs. Brookins for having confidence in me that I could hold such a great position. I would also like to thank Frederick Cole- man, Qco-Editorl who has been by my side in all that we have tried to do to make this book an excellent one. Thank you Gloria, Samuel, Patricia, Yul, Belva, and Denise. You have done a beautiful job. Always remem- ber the sky is the limit, so reach for the stars. Be successful in the near future. Tina M. Roberson Editor .gk To the study body and faculty staff of F.D.R., I hope you have enjoyed the 1982-1983 school year and even more this year's annual. We have worked very hard to bring another superb yearbook to Roosevelt, and we do appreciate your support. Being a junior I may give it another shot my senior year, because out of all the organizations here at Roo- sevelt there is nothing better than being on the annual staff here at Roosevelt High School. Being on the staff is a training ground for my career. It has so much to do with the field of Journalism. I remember when it all started. I was in the eighth grade in Junior High, and I would always Watch the newspaper staff interview other students, or there would always be someone with a 35mm camera walk- ing around. That's what made me want to be apart of the Journalism field. I wanted to learn how to use the camera and write good stories that caught people's attention. Well, that dream came true in my sopho- more year right here at Roosevelt. All in all I could not have done it without the outstanding people and staff members who helped to make this book a success. Well, the time has finally come for me to wish all the class of '83 good luck and have a very pleasant future. Remember, you have only today, if you lose it, it is gone forever. Frederick Coleman Co-Editor
