DR. LOUIE BLEDSOE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Dr. Louie Bledsoe graduated from W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas and then continued his college studies at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. In 1960 he received his Bachelor of Science Degree, in 1964 his Master's Degree in Education, and in 1974 his Doctorate in Education. Dr. Bledsoe began teaching in 1960 at Clinton P. Russell Elementary School, and continued as a coach and history teacher at W . H. Adamson High School. He became Assistant Principal at Benjamin Franklin Junior High School in 1969 . Dr. Bledsoe came to P. D. Roosevelt in 1971 and is presently serving as Assistant Principal. Administration 181

LEON M. H YES PRINCIPAL Mr. Leon M. Hayes graduated from Lincoln High School in our own city, Dallas, Texas. He attended Los Angeles College and received a Bachelor's Degree from Wiley College in 1957 . A Master's Degree in Secondary Administrative-Supervision was obtained in 1962 from North Texas State University. Mr. Hayes is presently working toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova University, Fort Lau- derdale , Florida . His first teaching assignment was at Madison High School in Dallas where he taught for five and one-half years. He served as Assistant Principal at Madison for another one and one-half years and then became the first Assistant Principal at Pinkston High School in the fall of 1964. Mr. Hayes came to Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1971 and continues to serve as our fine principal. 180 Administration

CHARLES KNO ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Mr. Charles Knox graduated from the Greenville , Texas, public schools in 1962. He continued his edu cation at East Texas State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1966 . A Master's in Education was then obtained in 1967 at Texas A 84 M University. Mr. Knox began teaching in Dallas at H Grady Spruce High School in 1967 . He started his administrative work at Sunset High School in 1971 and then moved to F. D. Roosevelt after one year. Mr. Knox is now in his third year as Assistant Principal at our school. 182 Administration
