Morin, USN, a native of Worcester, Massachusetts, is a graduate of the University of Cali- fornia. He received his wings in T948 as an Aviation Midshipman and served with Attack Squadron FORTY- FIVE and Fighter Squadron FOURTEEN, deploying in USS MIDWAY and USS WRIGHT. FoIIowing a tour as a flight instructor, Captain Morin reported for duty with Fighter Squadron ONE HUNDRED ELEVEN depIoyed to the Western Pacific aboard USS WASP and USS LEXINGTON. Reporting for duty as Oper- ations Officer for the Commander, Attack Carrier Air Wing Nine, Captain Morin served on board USS RANGER before being ordered to Attack Squadron ONE FIFTY FIVE. He commanded VA-I55 whiIe deployed to Vietnam aboard USS CORAL SEA in I965 and aboard USS CONSTELLATION in I966. Captain Morin was ordered to the Bureau of Naval Personnel after which he assumed command of Attack Carrier Air Wing Seven aboard USS INDEPENDENCE. He was then ordered as Commander, Readiness Attack Carrier Air Wing Four at NAS, Cecil Field in I969. In I970, he became the first Commander, Light Attack Wing One before assuming command of USS LASALLE in October I97I. Captain Morin deployed to the Persian GuIf where LASALLE became the Fiagship for the Commander, Middie East Force. Captain Morin is married to the former Betty Anne Kane of Holden, Massachusetts. COMMANDEREUGENE M. CLEMENS Commander Eugene M. Clemens was born in Madison, Minnesota. He enlisted in the Navy as a Naval Aviation Cadet in June of 1952. Receiving his commission and wings in 'l953, Commander Clemens was assigned to VA-95. Commander Clemens served aboard ROOSEVELT as Assistant ClC Officer from l96l to 1963 before reporting to VF-ll. He made two Med cruises on ROOSEVELT while attached to VE-ll. Commander Clemens commanded VA-82 and was Assistant Chief of Staff to COM- FAIRJAX before reporting to ROOSEVELT as Executive Officer on 'l July l972. EXECUTIVE DFFICER
