A DIVISION Another year has passed, and we have completed the second mile of our high school journey. During our Freshman year we learned many things, but. this year has added much to our store of experiences and achievements. During the scheol year, 1942-1943, many of us participated 4n the school's extra-curricular activities. Listed below are the activities in which we participated: Student Council Eleanor Murphy, Elizabeth Edger tone Basket Ball - Ina P. Williamson, Jessie Yarborough, Eleanor Murphy, Samucl Hazelwood, Football James Macon, James Williamson. Staff - Christine Evans, Eleanor Murphy, Ina Pearl Williamson. Press Club '= Josephine Bryant, Robert Macon, Jessie Yarborough, Samuel Hazelwood, Other menbors of our class showed interest in soft pall, cro- quet, boxing and other sportse Yet, extra-curricular activities were not the only things in which the membors of our class wore interested. James Macon, Robert Macon, Eleanor Murphy, James Moore and Christine nvans excelled in scholarship. We also have the honor of having Miss Franklin County training School (Eleanor Murphy) as one of our memberse We end our school year with thirty-eight members, It is our hope that all of the thirty-eicht will always be guided by our motto: To Strive, To Seck, To Find, But, Not To Yieldy Cless Historien - Eleanor Murphy
